Sweden x Finland: Christmas

A tall figure sat by the window, stared out the window into the dark cold atmosphere outside. The snow have piled high, but he did not move to clear it out, there were more pressing matters. His ‘wife’, Tino, was late. Which worry him, Tino was never late from delivering presents, not even when every kid in the world was good all year. But, of course, he didn’t show it.
Looking down at his, now cold, coffee, he debated with himself whether or not to call Tino. But it wasn’t pretty, the last call (made by Matthias) shook him up pretty badly, so everyone believes that it’s best just to text Tino if something is needed while he’s on his yearly run. Berwald had already tried that, Tino did not reply back. He had reason with himself on why he didn’t answer; leaving it on his sled while he do his christmas runs through the city, leaving it off/silent, etc. The grandfather clock struck 2 in the morning, Berwald, was completely exhausted with worry, fell asleep waiting for his wife.

“Looks like it’s a longer run this year,” said the young Santa, a smile graced on his lips. After tending to his reindeers, he entered the house into the living room. Spotting the fallen Swedish by the window, his smile brighten (if that’s possible) and red dust begin to cover his cheek. With a quick change of clothes, Tino grab extra blankets from the closet before making his way over to the giant. But the minute he successfully wrap it around the larger form, he was picked up and set on his lap. The duct on Tino’s face grew greatly, a nervous smile crossed his face. The giant looked down at him, signs of a small smile creeped on his face as he brought Tino closer into a huge, like a child and his teddy bear. Leaning back on his seat, Berwald once again slip into slumber, Tino soon follow him.
